No Work Parties for Two Weeks! Enjoy the time off.

Great news! We had a Topping Out Celebration last Sunday to celebrate the end of framing. For those who couldn’t make it, here is a link to the photos below - Enjoy!

Please take a well-deserved couple of weeks off! No volunteer work parties for the next two weeks! Work parties will start again June 11th, 18th and 25th.

We estimate that your effort has helped to save the project $180,000! That is huge and THANK YOU for all your hard work!

JW Construction Update

We rolled the last truss last Saturday! Work this week will consist of the following:

Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th - Skilled and Professionals will be on the roof bracing the trusses and nailing on the sheathing. 9AM to 5PM. Unskilled laborers are needed to provide the plywood to the guys on the roof. After the trusses are secure unskilled/semi-skilled workers are needed to cut the plates out of the door openings and start pulling the braces. We also have free firewood and what isn't taken needs to go in the dumpster.

And as always, a hearty lunch is provided!
